There are 4000+based aircraft in the state. Total operations are over 2.5 million per year. Usage and traffic increases 15%-20% per year.The state has 56 NPIAS airports and 13 non-NPIAS, not counting heliports and privateairstrips.
An airport is an economic generator of the community and the state.
